Officials have said that up to 500,000 may be dead, as bodies continue to line the streets of Port -au-Prince. Even seasoned disaster workers have said this was the most horrific disaster they have ever encountered. For those who believe there is enough aid, please understand we are not dealing with a small disaster. EVERYONE needs to do their part. Hospitals, schools and government buildings have been destroyed. The infrastructure in Haiti has been wiped out. It will be very difficult to get aid to the people of Haiti. Imagine if this were to happen in California. It would be devastating. Do not hesitate to act. Too many lives at stake. If you can help out, DO IT.
